LUNCH & EATABLES

No parent is allowed to bring lunch/eatables after the child has entered the school rules
premises. Under no circumstances will lunch be accepted in the school.

GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS

  1. All communication should be addressed to the Principal.
  2. Before sending the child to school it is the duty of parents to ensure that the child is neatly dressed up and has well-groomed nails, well-polished shoes, well-trimmed hair, and is with all the necessary books and stationery for the day as per the table.
  3. It is duty of the parents to inform the school if the child has any kind of allergies, chronic disease, or any kind of advice given to them by a qualified doctor for the well-being of the child. They should supply all this information on the “Health Report” page of the almanac.
  4. If the child is not showing progress or facing any difficulty/problem, please report to the Principal either on Wednesday or Saturday between 3 p.m. and 5.00 p.m.
  5. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in enforcing punctuality, regularity, and discipline. Parents should take an active interest in the activities of the school, as all the activities are compulsory and designed for the complete growth of the student.
  6. Criticism of a teacher of the school should strictly be avoided because it leads the child to lose respect for the teacher and consequent failure to learn from him/her.
  7. As the medium of instruction in school is English, children can be helped to follow their classes easily through a little English conversation at home. Awareness about current affairs through discussion at home goes a long way to building a base for good general knowledge and discussion ability.
  8. No pupil should be sent to school if suffering from a communicable disease.
  9. Please ensure that your ward DOES NOT bring valuables to the school. The school is not responsible for any articles/personal belongings lost by a student.
  10. No toys or sports equipment should be brought to school unless asked for by the teacher for a specific activity.
  11. Parents are requested to inform the school office promptly about any change of address or telephone number, if any, to enable the school office to contact them quickly in case of an emergency.
  12. If parents discern certain unusual tendencies/uncanny swings of mood in the child at home, they must bring it to the notice of the school authorities immediately.
  13. The school neither encourages private tuition nor allows Any of its teachers to get involved in any kind of private tuition for its own students. Please inform the principal if it comes to Your notice.
  14. The school has the right to ask a student to leave the school on the following grounds:
    a) Misbehaviour towards any teacher, student, or any other employee of the institution.
    b) Use of foul/abusive language to anybody.
    c) Disobedience of the school rules.
    d) Irregular attendance or truancy.
    e) Any conduct that dents the moral milieu of the school.
  15. Although the school takes all the precautions for the safety of the students, if a student gets injured, the school will take responsibility only for the First Aid and the rest will be borne by the parents.
  16. Parents must ensure that proper behavior is inculcated in a child so that he/ she abides by the rules and regulations of the school.
  17. In case of any dispute or proceedings, only Courts having jurisdiction over Bahadurgarh (Haryana) will be entertained to determine the same.
  18. The school does not allow the use of bikes or any other vehicle that requires a Driving License. In case a child is found riding a bike/scooty, serious action will be taken against him/her.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS

  • Students must reach school on time. Necessary disciplinary action will be taken against the habitual latecomers.
  • Students are not permitted to go back home during school Working hours.
  • Students are expected to be polite, courteous, respectful and disciplined inside and outside the school. Inappropriate, crude and coarse language is prohibited anywhere within school premises.
  • Since the medium of instruction is essentially English. English must be spoken during class time though the class is designed for learning other languages too. Children will speak English in and outside the classroom, on the sports fields, and during other interactions.
  • Students are expected to take good care of their books, stationery, uniforms, and all other personal belongings.
  • In case of breakage of any school property due to carelessness or negligence of any student(s), the parents of the student(s) concerned will pay the cost of the equipment or property damaged.
  • Students must extend due courtesy and respect to all members of staff. Respect for elders and affection for juniors should be soundly inculcated. Refinement in behavior should distinguish every pupil of the school. Every child is expected to uphold the name and honor of the school.
  • Mobile phones are strictly prohibited. If a child brings a mobile, it will be confiscated.
  • Girls are not allowed to wear bangles, colored bands, or colored pins and are also not permitted to use tattoos, nail polish, henna, etc.
  • The students who do not obey the rules of the school are bound to be suspended/rusticated from the school.

SCHOOL TRANSPORT

  1. All applications regarding availing of the facility of a school bus or the change of bus stop are submitted to the school reception.
  2. The bus facility is available only for the whole year. If once availed, it cannot be discontinued during the session and chargeable for the whole session.
  3. The service is not mandatory but only an extra facility provided for the students.
  4. Routes of the school buses have been drawn up carefully after giving due consideration to the convenience of the parents. And decision of the school authorities about routing, timing, pick-up points, etc. of the bus will be final.
  5. All students must be seated immediately after boarding their buses.
  6. In case of a change of residential address at any time during the session, no child will be allowed
    to change the bus route without prior permission of school authorities. Bus route can be changed any time during the session.
  7. Students are expected to obey the Bus Captain/Vice Captain appointed by the school. Indiscipline in the bus will not be tolerated and may lead to debarring the student( s) from traveling in the bus or even discontinuation of the bus service for him/her.
  8. In the event of a sudden breakdown of a bus, unwellness of a driver, shortage of fuel, weather barriers, stationary traffic, or any other indispensable incident, the school will not compensate.

FEE RULES

  • School dues are payable quarterly, i.e. in the months of April, July, October, and January by the 15th of the first month of the quarter.
  • Fees are deposited directly in the bank as per the following schedule :
    1st Quarter (April-June) Before/on the15th April
    2nd Quarter (July-Sept.) Before/on the 15th July
    3rd Quarter (Oct.-Dec.) Before/on the 15th Oct.
    4th Quarter (Jan.-March) Before/on the 15th Jan.
    Fee can be paid without a fine up to the 15th of the due month and by the 5th of the next month with a fine of ` 20 per day.
  • If the cheque is dishonored, a fine of 500/- in addition to the bank charge and the late fine due till the date will be charged.
  • Cheque or draft should be in favor of “S.R. Century Public School”.
  • The last date for payment of fees will be the 5th of the next month of the quarter to which the fee relates. Thereafter the name of the student will be struck off the school rolls. Re-admission will be allowed only after payment of all arrears of fees including the late fee, fine, and the prescribed re-admission charge of ` 1500.
  • If a student is withdrawn in midyear, quarterly installment of fees will be charged. No notice / correspondence is accepted during school vacations and in case of a withdrawal at this time, the fee must be paid up to the end of the quarter.
  • Safe custody of the fee book is the parent’s responsibility and they can be told to show the fee book as and when required by the office.

WITHDRAWAL & REFUND

  1. The admission fee is not refundable in any case.
  2. All dues have to be cleared before the T.C. is issued. The students applying for T.C. must obtain a “No Objection / Dues Certificate” from the school library, laboratories, and office.
  3. T.C. is issued free of charge if parents apply for the same up to the 25th of March at the beginning of the session. After this date, they are to pay quarterly fees in advance to get the T.C.

ATTENDANCE AND ABSENTEE PROCEDURE

  1. A proper leave application must be submitted in writing by the parent to the Principal in case of absence. Absence without prior written information will invite a fine of  50 per day.
  2. If a child has been suffering from a communicable disease, he/she can be allowed to attend school only after the production of a fitness certificate from a qualified doctor.
  3. If a student is absent without information for more than six days, his/her name may be struck off the school rolls.
  4. Re-admission may be granted only at the discretion of the Principal.
